4th of July Fireworks Displays- Malibu. The Los Angeles County Fire Department's Fire Prevention office issues permits for professional fireworks displays to be launched from barges off the Malibu coast. Permits have been issued for displays in the vicinity offshore from: Paradise Cove – Thursday, July 4th
Displays are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 PM in compliance with Malibu Municipal Code Section 9.36.010: "Fireworks shall commence no earlier than sunset and conclude by 10:00 PM."
