The celebrity real estate market continues to be hot in Southern California. With many familiar names, the month of March closed with the following celebrity real estate transactions in the Los Angeles area.

John Mayer

According to the Los Angeles Times, The Grammy winning singer recently bought a new house from fellow singer Adam Levine. Located in Beverly Crest, Mayer bought the single family home for around $13.5 million. The seven bedroom, five bathroom home is on an over 3.5 acre lot, and includes a swimming pool and tennis court on the premises.

Adam Levine

The coach on The Voice had a busy March, as Variety reports he also bought new property last month with wife Behati Prinsloo. The couple purchased a mansion in Beverly Hills from Max Mutchnick, creator of Will and Grace, for nearly $34 million. The large home is over 12,000 square feet, and holds features such as a guest house and terraces shaded with trees throughout the private property.

Tyra Banks

The famous supermodel added to her increasing portfolio of Los Angeles homes with a $7 million purchase in Pacific Palisadas, reports Variety. The modern new home was built in 2014 and is over 6,000 square feet. The house comes with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, separate quarters for entertaining and more relaxed family time, and a terraced backyard well suited for entertainment.

Michael Chilkis

Variety announced that the celebrity small screen actor and producer bought a new home in Benedict Canyon, around a month after selling his former house in Sherman Oaks. The new property is a contemporary style home valued at just over $2.5 million. The five bedroom, four bathroom purchase uses an open-space design concept and features two ensuite bedrooms, high-tech systems, and a backyard with an infinity pool and fire pit.

Rose McGowan

As reported by Variety, actress Rose McGowan sold her Hollywood Hills home for just over $1.9 million, slightly over the asking price. The actress sold the home to pay for her legal battle against Harvey Weinstein.
